Results – 23/ 24 June
Well ECC got two games in this weekend. On Saturday, we beat Kennington and on Sunday we lost to Ash in a high scoring 35 over game. On Sunday both Joey Wood and Gareth Friend got 100 as ECC scored 288, but Ash chased these down with 1 wicket left.
Result – Midweek Court Cavaliers
Eastry beat Court Cavaliers (106-7) by 10 wickets in a T20 game. Gareth (62)& Rootie (39) saw Eastry home. Many thanks to Court Cavaliers for laying on food at the hare & Hounds
Results – 8th & 9th June
Star game was cancelled.
Macknade game was abandoned 11 overs into Macknade’s Innings. ECC managed 118 all out with Gareth Friend scoring 61 including 5 sixes (one over the road!). Macknade were struggling at 18 for 3.
Court Cavalier Game
The Court Cavalier 20:20 game has been postponed by week. It will now take place on 14th June at the same time.
Results – 2/3 June
ECC beat Woodcutters with both Kev Dev and Dave W scoring 50s in ECC’s 210-7. Dave’s was a bit faster than Kev’s! EEC bowled Woodcutters out for 109 with Robin and Peter E both taking 3 wickets.
Sunday against Sandwich was cancelled due to rain.
